Church of the Unity is built.

[1859-Barnet] Architect: Thomas Silloway. The church is located at 91 West Newton Street. The congregation was established in 1857 and met initially in a former Baptist church on the corner of Canton Street and Shawmut Avenue. George Hughes Hepworth is the first minister. The congregation is dissolved in 1898 and the building is demolished to make way for a new church in 1899.*
